We Are A LightHouse was developed over nine months, once a week, with multiple sharings through Links Hall’s Set Free Residency (curated by Jessie Marasa).

As a starting point we looked to the quote:
“How could you a make a performance that really spoke about the world you live in now? What kind of things would it need to have in it? What kind of performance would you make if you lived in a city like this one?  What kind of performance could speak properly about the times you’re that living in, in all their complexity, simplicity, or whatever. Or you could ask a different question. What would you like to see on a stage, or in a performance space? What would you like to see put in that space that you haven’t seen put there before? What would make you smile or laugh to see it there? What would scare you?”
