Water and Salt I
Performed at Comfort Station, October 2014
The work attempts to uncover how the powerless navigate power. By undressing without nudity in the gallery space, I allude to female sexuality and it's consumption and public ownership. I then navigate the discomfort caused by female aggression by implicating the audience by offering worn, washed underwear, and water used for cleansing the garment to the audience.
