Udita Upadhyaya is an interdisciplinary artist, writer, and full spectrum birth worker.  Her practice is rooted in wisdom of the body. She works by asking piercing questions and deep listening in the pursuit of intimacy and connection. Her  works  attend to intergenerational longing and disconnection.She explores personal and collective histories, bringing to the forefront both illegible, innate memories and circular stories.  Her work spans live art, devised theatre, performative photographs, sculpture, installation, video, writing, text, and fiber arts.
